7 reasons why you MUST have your own info product

Answer this question: What is the number one reason people get online everyday? Simple. To get information. Google alone serves up 400 million searches per day! OK, so what’s it to you? It means that you have a massive opportunity to give people exactly what they’re looking for – information. And to earn some cash for doing it!

Info marketing 101

First, understand that this is the simplest kind of business there is. You develop a product that is nothing more than information. And people pay you for the information inside it.. It couldn’t get much simpler.

How do you make it work?

You’ve got the basic concept – exchange info for money. But to make it a successful business there has to be value in the info you’re selling. So step one is to discover what kind of info people want. How do figure that out?

One very simple method is to do a little research. Head over to ask.com or Yahoo! answers and see what kinds of questions people are asking. You want to find something a lot of people are asking about. Something that most people don’t already know. And provide the answer – in the form of an info product.

Think about this:

If you’re worried about how to write and ebook. Think about this: An info product is just a bunch of articles strung together. Writing a whole ebook can be overwhelming. Focus on one article at a time. And when you’ve got a few finished, expand and embellish them and put them together into an ebook.

OK, what’s so hot about digital products? Well, that bring me to the tile of this article Here are 7 reasons for you:

1. Simplicity and ease

As soon as you have the pieces in place, it’s virtually maintenance free. And your customers need very little support. Which means there nothing for you to actually *do*. It really is like and automatic money machine.

You have no physical inventory. There’s nothing to ship. It’s all delivered online.

2. Repurposing

After you’ve created a few ebooks. You can combine them together to create new high ticket products. It’s nothing to combine the content from several ebooks. And your new product will be able to carry a much higher sticker price. People will be willing to pay a lot more for one big ebook. As opposed to a bunch of little ones.

3. Private label right

When you own the product, you can sell resell rights to it. Resell rights are very hot right now, because people just don’t want to invest the time and money into making their own. And the best part is you’re selling the same product . . . but for 3 times the price for the rights!

4. Leverage

It’s your content, so you can use it in as many different ways as you want. Break it apart and create a multi-part email series with it. You can use this to build a list that you can marketing to again and again.

5. More leverage

Utilize your content in as many ways as you can – like creating a few reports from parts of the ebook. Then use these to generate leads for the main product. They can be free or low prices. Either way, you win because you’re feeding your funnel. You can even make these viral by allowing your affiliates to give them away. Affiliate, you say? Yes!

6. An army of affiliates

This one is huge. When you own your own products. You’re able to let other people market it for you. How would you like to have an army of affiliates selling your products? You can’t do this unless you have your own product.

7. Joint Ventures

OK, this is by far the biggest reason why. The number one way to launch your success is through joint ventures. And this is probably the number one reason to create your own product. Because if you don’t have you own product, you’ve got nothing to JV.

In closing

If you don’t want to sell digital products by now, then you’re either crazy or not listening. You’re the ruler of your own fate. Because you’re 100% in control. So, decide to just start:

• Visit an “answers” site
• See what people are asking about
• Start writing

Don’t make info product creation any more complicated than that. And in short time you’ll have the foundation for your own info product.
